Happy Mother's Day!

The moment a child is born, the mother is also born.
She never existed before.
The woman existed, but the mother, never.
A mother is something absolutely new.

Happy Mother's Day to all of the mommies who read my blog!

I've enjoyed reading about your precious family and can so relate as I have a 20 month old and 9 month old twin granddaughters that I keep daily. I KNOW how fast time will fly and do wish it would stand still often. Can I ask about your blog layout? Did someone make this for you or can you tell me how you put the background on there? It is just beautiful.

Thanks, Linda!

I got the header from - http://www.scrapblog.com and the background from - http://cutestblogontheblock.blogspot.com

The best part is that both are FREE! It just takes time. It took me a little while to figure it all out, but if I can do it, anyone can!

Thanks for the wonderful brunch on Saturday! My mother and I had a great time and it was so good to see you. Happy Mother's Day (again)!

Really weird... I just wrote a poem to my baby girl with this exact sentiment! But the four lines here wrote it better than I did in many more words!

Thanks for the quote, and Happy Mother's Day. I've enjoyed your site so far, and will be back.

Wisdom From the Pope

“The inalienable dignity of every human being and the rights which flow from that dignity - in the first place the right to life and the defense of life - are at the heart of the church's message." Pope John Paul ended his address, saying: "In spite of divisions among Christians, 'all those justified by faith through baptism are incorporated into Christ...brothers and sisters in the Lord.'"
