First Day of Spring

Since it's officially the first day of spring, here are some recent pictures of Hattie in her very first bathing suit and matching flip-flops. I bought them a few weeks ago and couldn't resist posting these pictures of her in them. We also bought her a little pool, but we haven't had the chance to put her in it yet (still too cold here, I think, but I can't wait until it's warm enough!).

Also, now that she's crawling, she's also starting to show her will. She fights us now when we change her diaper or her clothes. It's such an ordeal!! Gosh, I miss the days when she laid there limp while I changed her! That time is nevermore! She's a stinker and is constantly on the move! She doesn't want to stop for anything. She is a ball of energy! This is probably why I go to bed at 9 pm these days!!!

She is so precious in her swimsuit! And I love the lavendar bow! I'm anxious to get Steven to the pool too, but it doesn't open until May. =(

so cute!! i love her swimsuit and i love that picture of her looking at her flip-flops. we can't wait for to go swimming too... and even though Saige can't crawl yet, i am beginning to realize that my days of the non-mobile baby are quickly coming to an end. Saige gets so frustrated if she isn't moving and right now i am the only one that can help her. it is just a matter of days i think before she crawls though... we'll see.
isn't it so much fun being a mom?? i love this age!

Wisdom From the Pope

“The inalienable dignity of every human being and the rights which flow from that dignity - in the first place the right to life and the defense of life - are at the heart of the church's message." Pope John Paul ended his address, saying: "In spite of divisions among Christians, 'all those justified by faith through baptism are incorporated into Christ...brothers and sisters in the Lord.'"
